When I was looking to have my car restored I asked around I was warned not to go to Bubbas. I called anyway and decided to give Bubbas a chance since they seemed like nice people. Bubbas was not consistent with their prices. I was given four different prices for body work/paint ranging from $3,200, 4,500 - $5,500, $11,000, then $3,500. The agreement was 50% down of the total cost for each section of work, and the other 50% upon completion; however, for the body work they requested more than 50% down. Their prices for parts and labor in my opinion were outrageous. Example: 2 hrs to put coolant into a vehicle (over $200). They jacked their prices up and said if certain work was not performed then they would adjust the price. That never happened. They originally told me of many things that needed to be done to my engine that were not needed or were not done and I believe I was over charged for engine work for a car that was in running condition. I over paid for the engine work and they did not want to give me an refund. I was told it was to be applied to the body work in which they were not going to do because I was going to have car removed from their facility. After threaten to file a claim with the BBB I was called back and given the refund. I will not recommend the company.
